What temp did you fire to?
What did you use in the foil and how did you create your saggar?

Inspired by a technique that *lisaluera often utilizes for her pieces:
I used heavy duty Aluminum Foil.
Covered the piece in a temporary binding agent instead of heavy duty chemicals (am around children).
Added Steel Wool, Sugar, Salt, Horse Hair, and some other odd things.
Wrapped it all up and then fired it in an electric kiln to ~ 1200, I actually bought a ceramic flower pot from the store to hold the foil saggar pieces and then covered the top with a shelf, within the kiln.
Then I used a type of clear wax to give it a shine after cleaning.

Beautiful egg!
You mentioned you used salt in the firing. Just an FYI - salt makes a deadly gas when fired.
